QUEERing the ghost (2024)
WING MIRROR

Drawing upon the notion of an orientation that is often in motion and referred to only while in transit, often with the corner of the eye, ‘Wing Mirror’ - evokes both flight and reflection.
Images of feathers or fur -  a sense of a fleeting material world, of time passing cyclically and the warping or repurposing of memories or timelines - events of the present mirror events of the past and the allure of a connection to materials even through consumption - the car, the boardroom, the fur coat - are both seductive and unsettling in equal measure.
